Ferrari (; Italian: [ferˈraːri]) is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer based in Maranello, Italy. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939 out of Alfa Romeo's race division as Auto Avio Costruzioni, the company built its first car in 1940. However, the company's inception as an auto manufacturer is usually recognized in 1947, when the first Ferrari-badged car was completed.

The following article on questions Ferrari's secretive practices, "It seems like ages since Ferrari were investigated by the FIA, over the legality of their 2019 engine, after a number of complaints were made by the other teams. However, if you may remember, neither Ferrari nor the FIA revealed the result of the aforementioned investigation. "I have been working at Ferrari full-time Cons: Where to even begin? As the old saying goes, never meet your heroes. No raises, not even cost of living adjustment raises, have been given out in years. No explanation or communication from management as to why this is the case. If asked, management says it's the parent company in Italy not giving them. Meanwhile you'll read in all the news of the parent company posting record profits year after year. Take a look here on Glassdoor for the reviews of Ferrari Spa given by people over in Italy. They rave about how its one of the best companies to work for in Europe. They are listed here on Glassdoor as a separate entity from Ferrari NA. Here though if you speak to many of the employees at the NA headquarters they will tell you the exact opposite. Why is that? The CEO listed here is wrong. Parlato hasn't been with FNA for about 6 years and was a terrible CEO who only looked out for himself. The current atmosphere was only perpetuated by his replacement Mattiacci who again only cared about himself and his own career fulfilment. He left to run the F1 team and it was a disaster only lasting half a year if that tells you anything. Which leaves us now with Fenech who talks about change but like anything with Ferrari, it's slow going. Which is funny to think when the company is known for speed. If you're coming into the company, you better have your skills in order because you will get next to no internal training. This makes it difficult working with new employees as they are left in the dark on how to do things which creates a lot of hand holding. Not to mention many newer employees have little to no automotive background which is mind boggling. The company doesnt post open positions internally (not that there is ever many) so if you want to move up in the company you have to look on job sites to find postings. When reaching out to your parent company in Italy, often you are met with distain and you feel as though you are somehow bothering them. The parent company defiantly doesn't treat you like you are their equal. The fact is, you want to believe you are part of the team which is something the company prides itself on. Scuderia Ferrari as its known which translates to Team Ferrari but you find often that you struggle individually to just try to keep the gears of the machine turning."

The environment for women is now a culture of shut-up-or-be-fired. No one can step out of bounds without consequence. Disappointing for a global, iconic company."

I had to clock out in the middle of a big sale because it was against company policy to pay me a dollar more so I could finish a transaction because it went on past my schedule, happened several times a week. High turnover."

All sense of profesionalism and culture which is associated with the brand is lost by these sales tactics. Many times I would have to apologize to the customer for the horrible customer service experiences they had because sales associates were doing what management wanted"

"Ferrari NA is a sales subsidiary of Ferrari SpA based on Maranello, Italy. It has a small feel (maybe 80 people), and good people to work with, but is burdened by challenging infrastructure. For example, it is difficult to get financial reports or even good sales and marketing data since the HQ systems are not user friendly. This can hamper an otherwise good working environment. I left to work at a competitor that seems to have a more progressive outlook."

They do not work any more and the warranty is still valid - however the company will not do anything about it or even trouble themselves to communicate. So my advice to you is don't spend your money. If you have a problem they just don't seem to give a hoot about the products they sell you once they have your money. Not what you want from a premium brand - just glad i didn't buy a car !!"

"Watch out ! This company will do everything to not respect the warranty of the cars it sells. I bought a California T officially registered with FL. DMV in June 2017 and , when in January 2020 I brought it to the dealer for certain factory defects , they told me that the warranty had expired, telling different stories about an alleged "internal registration" that took place six months before the official registration and/or , that the vehicle "had a previous owner" that did not took delivery of the car and did not register it for six months. After 19 days at the dealer (no courtesy car) , I had to threaten to bring it elsewhere to get it back , after paying for the job , partially repaired. Certainly not what you expect from a company that sells luxury sportcars! (I had Jaguars , Mercedes and Aston Martin , always receiving an impeccable service)" is a non-profit organization and communications forum for social activism.
